Korea's KT Corporation plans to establish an AI medical R&D innovation zone in the Dongdaemun area of Seoul. An agreement signed with Sahmyook Medical Center and the medical big data company Humanitas aims to create a high-tech AI medical R&D innovation zone. The goal is to establish an emergency medical system on underutilized hospital land, supporting medical data R&D activities, with completion scheduled for 2028. Korea's KT Corporation will be responsible for building the integrated information and communication technology infrastructure, while Humanitas will provide systems and data support for medical R&D.
